🕊️ What if the gospel is much bigger than you’ve been told?

We often think of the gospel as the message of how to get to heaven. But when Jesus began His public ministry, His first announcement was something much bigger:

“The Kingdom of God is at hand.”

In the opening message of the GO series, Pastor Daniel Kolson explores the very message Jesus preached. Before we can understand compassion, healing, miracles, discipleship, or mission, we must first understand the gospel itself.

The Greek word euangelion means good news—the announcement of a victory already won. Jesus came proclaiming that a new King had arrived and God’s Kingdom was breaking into the present world. His invitation wasn’t simply to improve your life or follow a new set of rules—it was to repent, believe the good news, and live under the reign of King Jesus.
