Go.
But Jesus never intended going to be the starting point.
Too often the church begins with serving, programs, and activity, leaving people exhausted and spiritually empty. Jesus modeled something entirely different. Before He ever sent His disciples into the world, He spent years simply being with them—teaching them, walking with them, loving them, and forming them.
Because you cannot give what you do not have. A full cup doesn’t have to try to overflow. It simply does.
This message reveals that the Great Commission was never meant to produce burnout. It was always meant to be the natural result of abiding in Christ. As we remain connected to Jesus, His life begins to overflow into our homes, workplaces, neighborhoods, and relationships. The world doesn’t need more religious activity. It needs people who have been with Jesus.
