Jesus Did Not Come to Start a Religion | From Performance to Family & Kingdom | Pastor Daniel Kolson

🕊️ What if much of what we call Christianity today looks nothing like what Jesus actually came to build?

In Week 4 of the Jesus Unfiltered series, Pastor Daniel Kolson confronts one of the most deeply embedded filters in the modern Church: the belief that Jesus came to start a religion.

A system.

An institution.

A set of rules to follow.

But that’s not what Jesus announced.

He didn’t come to build a system to manage behavior—

He came to establish a Kingdom, restore a family, and invite us into relationship with the Father.

This message exposes how the Church slowly drifted from a Spirit-led movement into performance-based religion—tracing it from the early church, through Galatians, into Constantine, and into modern expressions of Christianity.

But more importantly, it calls us back.

Back to abiding.

Back to family.

Back to presence.

Because religion produces exhaustion.

But the Kingdom produces life.
